We may not want a rock-hard, six-pack abs but no less than abs that are lean enough to be shown in swimsuit.  In this article we are going to discuss the things to do and the exercises that will focus on toning your abs.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">There are several moves that are good for toning your abs.  For your information, regular sit ups are not included in the list.  This exercise is not recommended because can cause back strain.  Putting your hands behind your neck while exercising the regular sit ups can also cause neck injury.  What happen usually is not letting your abdominal muscles to do the work of bring your back to your knees, your hands would tend to pull your neck to bring your chest and torso towards your knees.  This can cause a neck problems rather than giving you a flat abs.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In top position of the most recommended abdominal exercises is the bicycle exercise.  Based on the name itself, your body will move like it moves on a bicycle except that you‘re lie on your back.  Put your back on the floor and raise your legs around 45 degrees, spread your fingers beside your head (remember not on the neck), and upper part of your body will work reversely as you “pedal.”  Meaning when you bend your right knee towards your torso, your abdominal muscle should contract and pull your upper body until your left elbow touches the raised knee.  Then do it vice versa.  This exercise focuses on toning your lower, upper, and the side abs or the oblique.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span id="more-52"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The second exercise is the captain’s chair.  In this exercise, you need to have a chair that is sturdy and safe for you to hold on to.  Lay your back comfortably on the chair and let your abdominal muscle work and elevate your knees closing to your upper part of your body.  This exercise directs to all the abdominal parts.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The next exercise is crunching an exercise ball.  Your lower or mid back area should be balanced while resting on the ball, in an inclined position.  Feet flat on the floor, arms crossed on your shoulders then again, lift up your upper body using contraction of your abdominal muscle from the ball.  This exercise will focus on your upper abs.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The next exercise is the reverse crunch. From the term itself again, instead of bringing your upper body towards the knees, you are raising your bent legs up.  You will also need to lie on the floor, raise your legs and bend the knees to make an inverted right angle.  Once you are on this position, you will raise your legs again as if you are trying to reach the ceiling.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">These are the exercises recommended to tone your abs but don’t forget that it is also important to have a good diet to shed off the extra fats and do aerobic exercises to burn the calories.  Exercise goes hand-in-hand with diet.</p>

We want to lose weight, get healthy, or drilled for an athletic event.  But have we ever thought of psychological welfare as an answer?  We might but the physical aspect comes in first.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Our body is made up of network tissues of bodily process.  It means that what we do to a part of our body will be having effect to our body parts.  It is the same with our psyche.  What we do for our physical body will affect our psyche.  Exercise is capable of changing our physical appearance and our mood, self-esteem, and mental vigilance.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Let us connect some statistic data here.  Do you know that most of the depressed and anxious people are over weight?  And those people are also most of the have little confidence?  It is clear that over weight people who have not been exercising and always gaining weight are having these psychological and outlook issues.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Exercise makes our body secrete neurochemicals or neurotransmitters like dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin that elevates our moods. At the same time, walking gives you a different view.  This makes you level-headed and even manages the problem better.  You can also exhaust your anger through walking.  Stomping your feet on the floor is a good way of draining all your anger on the floor.  And the good news about walking is that you can do it alone in private so clomp all you can until your anger subsides.  Your mental alertness and awareness change as the anger removed, this will give you better judgment and mental processes works smoothly.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Exercises like tai-chi and yoga endorse balance and flexibility but also focuses on relaxing the mind.  Calming the mind with these exercises will help you in controlling your mood.  This is also good practice for controlling your stress.  It is like tranquilizing without the use of tranquilizers or sedatives.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">How about self-esteem?  Exercise like tae-bo that has recitals will give you a feeling of contentment because you are able to do it and perform in front of others.  This builds up your self-esteem.  Because exercise makes you feel fit and look good, your perception will indicate that you are being easily accepted by your colleague.  You will not think about what their thoughts on your weight or figure.  You don’t feel bloated anymore, you are a new person.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">Weight loss fast and being fit need us to do exercise.  Aside from being fit and healthy, exercise also helps in reducing the occurrences of drug experimentation and addiction because our body and mind in active state.  But what if the one that helps in reducing these addiction occurrences turns out to be addictive?</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Some of us might think that it is impossible.  But the fact is exercise can also be addictive.  Exercise is assumed to develop your total well-being but if there is addiction, it has a opposite effect.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">How we shall know when there is addiction in exercise?  Substance addiction has withdrawal symptoms, right?  For example, you have been dependent on opiates then you decided to detoxify, you will have unsettled stomach or chills because your system is looking for the substance that has been in your system for quite a while.  Same with exercise, if you have missed a session then you think that you’re in a serious stress, and then there is something not right here.  Other indication is that you kept on exercising if you are under the weather or sick.  This is not healthy because when you’re not a hundred percent, your body needs to take a break.  Then again, if you feel in good physical shape then felt sick because you missed a session is another sign.  You feel obliged to workout.  Forced exercise is not the proper way towards fitness.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Workout should be amusing for you.  If you feel that you are not enjoying it but just the obligation of doing so, then it is another sign.  Another is if you feel that working out with others will just disturb your progress in working out.  Exercise is better if done with groups than just by yourself.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Bad weather won’t stop you from your workout activity?  This is another symptom of addiction to exercise. It is also dangerous because the possibility of meeting an accident while working out.  Pushing yourself too hard is another symptom.  You are disturbed that you will directly gain weight if you missed a session.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Another symptom is when you feel that workout is much more important than your work or family.  You don’t have the time to do your responsibilities as a parent or a student. Not even caring about the more important things as long as you keep on working out and burning those fats.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Addiction to exercises can also sometimes lead to other psychological eating disorders.  Because of your addiction, you analyze everything you eat.  Your system is resisting the food because of your trepidation of gaining weight again.  This can lead to anorexia or bulimia.  Bulimia is when the food ingested is being thrown up to avoid weight gain.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">You shall know that doing things excessively is not good.  Exercise is good for your body yes, but overdoing it is not.  Think of your health.  If you think that you are having withdrawal symptoms by missing a session of exercise, there is a need to seek help and evaluation from the professionals.  There is nothing improper with that.</p>

We may have tried some weight loss programs and diets.  You may have tried at least one of them.  But we agree that weight loss is good and we engage on it. On the other hand, there is one thing that we all hate to do:  exercise.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Today, we claim that we cannot do exercise because of our busy lifestyle.  Waking up early to go to the office, organize the kids for school, do the groceries, work, do the household chores, pick up the kids, do overtime at work go home tired.  This is the every day activities for most of us.  And moreover, workouts are too dull and too tiring to do.  However, exercise is needed to burn up the excessive fats that are being taken in.  Calories are being burned every time our body is in its active state.  The burned calories and fats become energies and the waste are being released from our body in the form of sweats.  And with proper weight loss plan, we can discard the over weight through exercise.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span id="more-47"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">I am very busy man with overload schedule.  How can I exercise if I have many things to do?  The answer is simple.  You can combine exercise with your daily activities. You can walk when you want to buy something to near store or run errands.  As we all know, walking is the best exercise that can be done by everyone.  If your office is not that far also from your house, then walking can be the best choice of going there.  Your office is on the third floor and you need to go at the fifth floor?  You can use the stairs.  It is a good type of cardiovascular exercise.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">And with the revolutionary changes in exercising, some fitness and gym instructors and even dance instructors have developed exercise programs.  These exercises are designed to make your mood as if you are not exercising.  The level of complexity also changes as you progress with the programs.  Examples of these are Tae-bo.  This integrated exercise and kick-boxing in one.  This is designed to target all major body parts or a full-body work out.  With some jabbing, you can exercise your arms, kicking for your legs and thighs, and cross-kick for your abs.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Workouts for the body have also been included in dancing such as hip hop dances and belly dancing.  In hip hop dancing, your body is active and the movements are also being focused on your body parts.  Belly dancing is also a good structure of workout for your stomach.  The tummy is constantly being shaken and you can feel that your stomach is contracting.  Aside from the benefit of exercising and weight loss, it is a form of art because of the dance and another supplement to your list of hobbies.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">There are also a kind of workouts that aside from exercising your body are relaxing your mind like Pilates, Yoga, and Tai-chi.  Pilates and Yoga an exercise that endorse flexibility, balance, and mind relaxation.  Tai-chi is focusing on slow and harmonization body movements and breath.  These workouts, even though relaxing your mind, can make you sweat plentifully in a session.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">These exercises are also done in groups.  Working in groups is considered as a driving force in continuously doing the exercise programs.  The more the merrier and is promoting emotional support and encouragement for everyone.  These sessions also last for only 30 minutes up to 45 minutes.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Those are the exercises that are considered to be made easy for us and can easily be incorporated in our schedules.  Keep in mind that in weight loss we also need to exert some effort to get the weight that we wanted and we can do that with exercising.</p>
